The child on the right is wearing a bag in the style of those that may have been made in the 1840s by Caroline Parker, a Seneca Iroquois from the Tonowanda Reservation in western New York. That child is also holding what appears to be a beaded watch pocket. The child in the center has a larger Niagara floral bag on her lap. Considering the span in the age of the beadwork in this image, these may have been props in the photographer’s studio.
